Silence.
There’s a saying that goes “only speak if what you have to say will improve upon the silence”. And if *you* are reading this, I’d like to pass the message onto you. If the silence between us is completely bearable to you, then nothing you can say will make much of a difference. If you’re finding this easier and easier to do each day, then your words will serve no purpose in the bigger picture. If you are fully content with your recent life choices, then so be it. Only if you know deep down that things don’t feel as right as you thought they’d be, then your words would be of some importance to the situation. But only then. Only if I am wrong in believing that you’d rather leave this mess behind you entirely rather than try to be a better person and clean it up…. It's interesting, the way you work hard to hurt me.
